Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, accessing the Service, or clicking "I agree" during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your country of residence or the country from which you access the Service, including any applicable sanctions, export control, or trade restriction laws. The Service is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18.

3. Description of the Service

Signal Atlas provides market data aggregation, stock screening and scanning tools, watchlists, charting, AI-generated market analysis and reports, and alert notifications (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is offered on a free tier (which may display third-party advertising) and a paid subscription tier ("Pro"), as described in Section 8.

The Service is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not a brokerage, is not a registered investment adviser, and does not hold, manage, or have discretion over your funds or securities. Signal Atlas does not execute trades on your behalf and does not have access to your brokerage account credentials or capital.

4. Not Financial, Investment, or Trading Advice

Nothing on the Service — including scanner outputs, trend scores, AI-generated reports, watchlist annotations, alerts, backtest results, or any other content — constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or trading advice, nor a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial instrument.

• All content is generated from historical and real-time market data and automated or AI-assisted analysis, and is provided "as is" for your own independent evaluation.
• Past performance, backtested results, or hypothetical performance shown on the Service is not indicative of future results, and does not represent actual trading.
• You are solely responsible for your own investment and trading decisions, and for evaluating the merits and risks of any use of the information provided.
• You should seek advice from a licensed, independent financial adviser before making any investment decision.
• Trading and investing in financial instruments carries a substantial risk of loss, up to and including the loss of your entire invested capital. You acknowledge and accept this risk in full as a condition of using the Service.

5. AI-Generated Content

Certain features of the Service (including AI Reports and related analysis) are generated in whole or in part by artificial intelligence and large language models. AI-generated content:

• may contain factual errors, outdated information, misinterpretations of market data, or omissions ("hallucinations"), and should not be treated as verified or authoritative;
• is generated automatically based on available data at the time of generation and is not reviewed by a human analyst or licensed professional before being shown to you;
• may vary in quality, tone, or conclusions between reports, even for the same underlying data.

You should independently verify any material fact in an AI-generated report before relying on it in any way, and you use such content entirely at your own risk.

6. Market Data and Third-Party Sources

The Service displays market data, pricing, news, and related content sourced from third-party providers. This data:

• may be delayed, incomplete, or intermittently unavailable, including due to outages, rate limits, or changes made by the underlying data provider;
• is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness from Signal Atlas or its data providers;
• should not be used as the sole basis for a real-time trading decision, particularly given potential delays between the underlying market and what is displayed on the Service.

We may change, replace, or discontinue any third-party data source at any time without notice, which may affect the availability or accuracy of features that depend on it.

7. Account Registration and Security

To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you;
• notifying us promptly at the contact address in Section 19 if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false or misleading registration information.

8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

8.1 Plans

Signal Atlas offers a free plan and a paid "Pro" subscription plan. Plan features, pricing, and included report credits are described on the pricing page at the time of purchase and may change from time to time (see Section 8.5).

8.2 Payment processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms. We do not store your full payment card details; they are handled directly by Stripe.

8.3 Billing and renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly (or annual, where offered) basis and automatically renew at the then-current price until cancelled. Promotional or discount codes apply only under the conditions stated at the time they are offered and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

8.4 Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing section of your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Pro access until that date, and you will not be charged for the following period. Except where required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused report credits, and unused time on a cancelled plan.

8.5 Changes to pricing or plans

We may change subscription pricing, included features, or credit allowances on a going-forward basis. Where required by law, or as a matter of policy, we will give you reasonable notice of any price increase before it applies to your next renewal.

8.6 Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge, downgrade your account to the free plan, and/or suspend Pro features until payment is successfully processed.

9. Free Tier and Advertising

The free tier of the Service may display third-party advertising, including through Google AdSense or similar ad networks. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visit to the Service and other sites; this is described further in our Privacy Policy. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements and are not responsible for the products, services, or claims made in them.

10. Alerts and Communications

If you enable alerts or notifications, you consent to receive service-related messages by the channels you configure, which may include email and WhatsApp/SMS (delivered via a third-party messaging provider). Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply to SMS/WhatsApp messages. You can manage or disable alert channels from your account settings at any time; disabling a channel may cause you to stop receiving certain time-sensitive notifications. We are not responsible for delivery delays or failures caused by your carrier, device settings, or the third-party messaging provider.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, copy, or systematically extract data or content from the Service other than through your normal, individual use of the interface;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, models, or underlying methodology of the Service;
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute Service content (including AI Reports, scanner data, or alerts) to third parties, whether for commercial gain or otherwise;
• use automated scripts, bots, or tools to abuse rate limits, create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the Service;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation, or in a way that infringes the rights of any third party;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or the systems or networks connected to the Service;
• upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate access for any account in breach of this section, with or without prior notice, at our discretion.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, scanner methodology, scoring systems, trademarks, logos, and all AI-generated and editorial content, is the property of Signal Atlas or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and its content for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from Service content without our prior written consent.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us about the Service may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately; provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4–6, 12, 15–17) will continue to apply.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the data it relies on is free of inaccuracies. You use the Service at your own risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Signal Atlas, its operator, and its personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or trading losses, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty pounds sterling (£50).
• Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signal Atlas, its operator, and its personnel from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you have a dispute with us, you agree to first contact us at the address in Section 19 and attempt to resolve it informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within a reasonable time, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and mandatory consumer-protection laws of that jurisdiction may apply in your favor notwithstanding this clause.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, or the outcome of the independent legal review referenced at the top of this document. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and where practicable, notify registered users (for example, by email or in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.

20. General

• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Signal Atlas regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on this subject.
